This project is aimed at improving the look of Daffodil Lane. This lane, which is used by many local residents, walkers and athletes, has become very unkempt; for many years no daffodils or wild flowers have been seen growing on the lane. The aim of this project is to revitalise the location by planting daffodil bulbs and other natural wild flowers thereby improving the overall natural look and presentation of the lane. The BBG members will plan the work and take part in the project activities. The group will have responsibility for maintaining the area by planting, weeding, feeding, monitoring the environmental needs and taking steps considered necessary to maintain and improve the lane. The BBG aim to create a pleasant and colourful approach to Chaine’s Wood and Carnfunnock Country Park by improving the diversity of flowers and plants in the area.
